Narae Kim is a costume designer, storyteller, and artist. After her family immigrated to the United States, new life naturally made her observe and draw people. It made her develop communication skills and led her to be fascinated with the art of costume design.  

She received a degree in Fashion Design at Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) and transferred to get her BA in Theater from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). She has just completed her MFA in costume design at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and works as a freelance costume designer, collaborating for theatre, film, and television.
